SSC GD Constable Result 2026 — What Happened So Far

SSC conducted the Constable (GD) 2026 computer-based examination from 27 April to 30 May 2026. A total of 21,56,776 candidates appeared in the exam. The result was declared on 12 October 2026, and a revised result with updated List-I and List-II was uploaded on 23 October 2026. A total of 1,97,408 candidates — 1,81,251 male, 15,782 female and 375 male candidates for the Secretariat Security Force (SSF) — have been shortlisted for the next stage, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), against 25,487 vacancies in the BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, SSF and NCB.
