5 Tips Before You Download

  1. Download only from ncert.nic.in or epathshala.nic.in. Other sites may host old or edited copies.
  2. Check that the book is for the 2026-27 session — NCERT updates books and drops some chapters in the rationalised syllabus.
  3. For board exams, read the NCERT book first and use other books only for extra practice.
  4. For JEE and NEET, Class 11 and 12 NCERT Science and Maths books are the base — most questions come from their lines and examples.
  5. Keep the PDFs in one folder on your phone, named by class and subject, so revision is one tap away.

Note: NCERT books are government publications and the official PDFs are completely free. Never pay anyone for a “NCERT PDF pack” — if a site asks for money or your phone number, it is not the official source.
